Marco Simoncelli Death Italian Rider Killed in Malaysian MotoGP

Italian rider Marco Simoncelli, 24, died in a horrific crash during Sunday's Malaysian Grand Prix. Simoncelli after his death was motorcycle collided with two other pilots.

Simoncelli was taken to the plant at the Sepang circuit, where he died of head injuries in the chest, and neck, the organizers told the media.

"He was already unconscious when medical team arrived," MotoGP medical director Michele Macchiagodena told the Washington Post. "We tried to resuscitate him but failed. He died after 45 minutes."

It is said that the Italian has lost control of his motorcycle as he left a right turn at the Sepang circuit. He seemed to have lost his balance as he drove the other in the center of the track, which led him in the path of Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi. The two pilots affected Simoncelli, whose helmet was knocked off during the collision.
